Similar to the kut switch in the pt01 scratch but with a sanwa momentary button?

They come in many colors, and momentary or latching. Lighted w/ LED’s, Metal or plastic, and different sizes. All have the wires already soldered on the switch terminals. I also use them in Guitars, either by quickly shunting the output to ground, or adding an R/C to play with tone. It’s fun!

We don’t use pliers to remove or loosen nuts, large wire cutters, box cutters, well, pretty much any of those hand tools for delicate electronic work. I don’t cut wires from the old switch, that’s what a soldering iron and pump is for. Don’t just solder pig-tails onto other wire leads, the rule for a solder joint is to make a good mechanical connection first, then solder it. Heat shrink tubing is used by professionals, not slopping some liquid tape all over the bare wires. We don’t use putty to mount PCB’s, that’s what 3M DBBL sided tape is for. DIY doesn’t have to be hap-hazard like this, spend a few more bucks for the right supplies and tools, and be proud of your work. Then when your box gets opened by somebody else, you won’t be embarrassed or ashamed. Remember, your work is your image and signature.

Thanks! Yeah, pedals aren’t for everyone, but they are super fun to mess with, in DJing and production. Haha, definitely hit up that Rig Kontrol 3! That would be awesome with 8 arcade buttons. Post it here if you do Mod it.

That sounds awesome. Definitely post some images of that when you’re done!

Awesome!! My idea is to build the whole thing from scratch, including the PCB design and diy fabrication 🙂 I want to create the pedal in a stereo way so I need to build the design twice, one for left channel and one for right channel.

Thanks for the recommendation and the article Kyle!! Awesome 🙂
