Two different apps with two different purposes. iMaschine is great for nailing down melodies when they pop into your head or sitting around and just messing around. If you already have a Maschine you can import straight to that software. This app seems much better for playing with live and gives you the ability to be more expressive with the XY pad.

iMaschine is really great fun.  Not sure about the other one so a bit biased but for a few pounds (or dollars or Euros or whatever) I’ve been able to get solid track ideas out of it in five minutes flat.

After you create a beat you cant do anything with it, with the imaschine you can upload it to sound cloud and dl it to your computer.
