I’ve been trying to do this but, unfortunately with the TR-8 as the audio interface it doesn’t seem to be possible to turn off self monitoring on the hardware. This causes a redundant sound from the tr8 and ableton, what is essentially a double tap. I’d really like to be able to use these effects in a live performance and set them up for each drum. Any thoughts?

I am trying to get this to work with Ableton and Moog Sub 37 but audio does not record or playback after I setup an external instrument the same way you show in the video. Here is my configuration:

Any ideas what I am doing wrong here and how to fix to get it working just like you showed us in the video and article?

Thanks!
