System requirements is a big issue for me.. I think Serato are in cahoots with Apple!

1. touch screen scroll friendly. touch screen gui friendly.
2. use 2 hardware on one computer. we can use 2 laptops on one mixer. it would be nice if we could now use 2 mixers or controller on the same computer… eg. 2 djm-s9’s or an s9 and controller in 4 deck setup.

serato 2.0 has to come up with something radically different and new to stop current serato user from switching to rekordbox.

I always like the way Traktor showed just the top of the cover image, which was very reminiscent of looking through record boxes back in the day. It’s a small feature but it’s something I’d love to see incorporated into Serato.

In reply to Mauri Moore. Some people is using Alink with Midi sync link app. In hardware realm one of the salespoint for Dj808 is midi clock (from the groovebox side obviously). Serato seems learnt a precious lesson with the Bridge and sync protocols. Midi clock from internal deck seems not present in their roadmap.

How about a reverse gate that lets me mute DJ callouts that ware twice as loud as the rest of the track? I would like that very much. 😉 I’m trying to like Future, but half his songs are ruined by “DJ ESCO!!!!!” or some garbage right in the middle of the track that’s distracting as fck.
