with only one button, namely the Settings Button on the top-left of the screen.
The MIDI screen will not be visible, the Display Settings screen will, but almost
all buttons and knobs will work as the MIDI mapping selected in the ‘official’
MIDI mode (Shift + Back). This works great for fast, one hand (!) switching
between MIDI and normal mode because my hand is not large enough to press Shift
+ Back at the same time (and I think no one’s is).

I’m doing a similar thing, yet the other way around: I use my Maschine Jam to control both softwares and route it through Traktor the J, in Midi mode it is my cue point + stem controller for Traktor.
